“ Dickinson Ave Public House is serving the most flavorful and unique food and cocktails I have had in Greenville so far! I cannot compliment this place enough. All their houses cocktails looked very interesting and we were pleasantly surprised by how good they were. I ended up getting the Carolina hayride with Brandy and bourbon, and did not expect to like that combination so much. We had the Korean BBQ fires to start, and then the Smoked Brisket Mac and Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Dickinson Ave Public House is the perfect place for dinner and drinks in Greenville! ”
“ Prompt friendly wait staff. Good selection of beers on draught. The house salad is a good value! We also shared the the burrata buccatini - a fried cheese ball over thick spaghetti like pasta - with a tasty putanesca like sauce with tomatoes, chopped olives and capers. A bit on the pricey side for a meatless pasta dish, but not hard to tolerate since we shared. ”
“ This restaurant has some delicious dishes on their menu. I had the pear and goat cheese salad. It had candied pecans on it and was fantastic! My wife had the Artichoke cakes with pasta, absolutely a delicious treat. I highly recommend both these dishes. The atmosphere is pretty cool with its old time artsy decor. Great date night restaurant in the heart of the downtown area. ”
“ Great food although not really healthy. We arrived late when they were 30 minutes away from closing. Wait staff was courteous. I'll return as the atmosphere seemed fun. ”
“ I sat at the bar by myself and did the wine flight and had some oysters and the Korean beef fries. The oysters were great, but I honestly didn't care for the fries- the flavors were too strong (but most people seem to love them so maybe it was just me). The bartender was friendly and it's a nice wrap around bar. It wasn't crowded when I went at 5:40 on a Thursday. ”
“ Second visit on business by myself so sat at the bar. Both times it was excellent. This visit had oysters, wedge salad & glass of Pinot Noir. Oysters were from James River, VA. Yummy. Also had Blue Points (my favorite) but wanted to try these. Dressing on salad slightly spicy & excellent. Noah River Pinot Noir was best glass I've had in a while. Excellent service. Was great last visit as well but don't remember what I had as menu changes. Beautiful place with good atmosphere. ”
“ I came here to eat because of the excellent reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. It lived up to their Yelp rating. I had the blackened shrimp grits and it was outstanding. I was not as pleaded with the banana pudding. The flavor was good but the bananas we hard. I'm not even sure they were bananas because they were so hard. The atmosphere was pleasant. It looked and felt like a social gathering place. I will be back her next time I'm in town. ”
